What are the benefits of freezing CCX tokens?

As CoinCasso 2.0 finally enters its beta phase, we decided to create a short article clearly explaining how freezing of CCX tokens works and what are the expected benefits of owning our tokens in the upcoming future.

What are frozen CCX tokens?

In short – frozen CCX tokens are tokens that the user has kept in a verified wallet for a limited time. They give access to participate in the life of CoinCasso and allow users to receive partial profits.

Who can buy CCX tokens and freeze them?

Anyone can buy CCX tokens, but the process of freezing CCX tokens is available only to authenticated users.

How to freeze (stake) CCX tokens?

To stake CCX tokens, the user has to block his or her CCX tokens in a special wallet on their user page on the CoinCasso 2.0 exchange platform.

After a specified time has passed, the CCX tokens will start giving the user listed benefits. The time depends on the number of frozen tokens the user has.

What are the benefits of freezing CCX tokens?

Exclusive features and advantages of owning frozen ССХ tokens: 

• 80% of the exchange platform profits are distributed among frozen CCX owners, 
• Reduction of commission for transactions depending on the amount of frozen CCX tokens owned
• The right to vote on order of tokens to be added to the exchange platform
• The right to participate in voting for the structural changes of the CoinCasso 2.0 
• For holders of a large amount of frozen CCX tokens – exclusive invitations to events and material rewards 
• For holders of a large amount of frozen CCX – possibility of adding a token for community vote to add it to the exchange 
• Opportunity to participate in other CoinCasso projects (e.g. CoinCasso Capital Foundation)

Usual fee – 0.25% from the amount being sent, but the more frozen CCX tokens are being owned, the smaller this fee gets (as per the chart below).

Affiliation – when registered using the affiliation link, the more frozen CCX tokens are being owned, the bigger cut goes towards the affiliate (as per the chart below).

Example: When sending 1000 CCX tokens, the 0.25% means the exchange platform would take a 2.5 CCX cut of the transaction. If the user owns – for example – more than 100 000 frozen CCX tokens, this cuts the fee by 50% – so 0.125% instead of 0.25%. In this case, when sending the above mentioned 1000 CCX tokens, the exchange platform fee would be 1.25 CCX – 50% less.

Does the transaction fee count when transferring tokens from CoinCasso.io to CoinCasso 2.0?

No, the transfer of tokens from CoinCasso.io to CoinCasso 2.0 is free.

Can I freeze less CCX tokens than are required to gain benefits?

You can freeze less CCX tokens, but only once you have enough for at least the first tier of benefits, will your frozen CCX tokens start giving you any benefits.
