O Cardano:
Cardano – это децентрализованная платформа, которая была запущена в сентябре 2017 года гонконгской компанией Blockchain Development Output (IOHK). Время блокировки Cardano составляет 20 секунд. Платформа управляется командой во главе с Чарльзом Хоскинсоном – соучредителем Ethereum. Cardano, как и Tezos, основана на алгоритме Proof-of-Stake. На базе Cardano была создана криптовалюта под названием Cardano Coin, или ADA.
Это первая платформа, основанная на научной философии и исследовательском подходе. 4 января 2018 года у Cardano была своя собственная ATH (All-Time High price), стоимость которой равнялась 1,33 доллара США.
